NACA Statement Condemning the Violent Assault on the US Capitol

The National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) is appalled by and condemns yesterday’s violent assault on the United States Capitol. As the Association strives to empower members “to create college communities where everyone belongs,” yesterday serves as a sobering reminder that the work of our members to foster, create, and promote spaces where individuals with varied ideas and beliefs can engage in civil discourse are even more important and relevant than ever before. As well, our work to further understanding of diversity, equity, inclusion, social justice, and privilege can better prepare the next generation of leaders to serve our communities and larger society.
