Professional Development Brunch

Making the Case for Campus Activities

The 2022-2025 NACA Strategic Plan called for us to build and champion the case for Campus Activities as critical to creating campus communities where everyone belongs. It called for research on the impact of Campus Activities/student involvement, sense of belonging, and their relationship with student retention and persistence. Dr. Keeling will briefly review the research that has been completed and a panel of student leaders will share how they work to create belonging in their roles and on their campuses and how advisors can support them in these endeavors.

This professional development opportunity will provide strategies for staff to involve students in making the case for Campus Activities on their campus.
